Grades 3 App Reviews

Ive been using Grades for a few semesters now, and I absolutely love it. It truly is the best app for students. The current version, Grades 3, vastly improved on what was already great. Thank you for creating this app, guys.

This app is great to keep track of grades. However. I want to break down one of my items down as it is graded weekly and I cannot enter a grade with a decimal. This would be nice and used to be available to have sub grades under a specific percentage. Not sure why they took that away!!

My school uses a platform for online classes and it messes up all the time. This app has literally been the difference between getting a B and an A. So thank you to those who created it! Without you I wouldnt have noticed the mix up so quickly! :-)

The To Do List is going by day of the week rather than calendar date, for instance I had a paper due today and Ive got a paper due 2 weeks from today but the app was telling me both were due today. Double checked the date and its correct. Worse than that the notifications arent popping up, I checked my setting and theyre good and its not happening to any other apps. Means this app is essentially just a grade calculator now and I can do that by myself.

Very helpful in improving grades! Set target and get time for it! ---------------------- I reinstalled my system and all the data were gone. By using iCloud, you can also sync the data with other devices.

Works as intended, however, the GPA calculator is a bit confusing to use if your school has a different weighting system. Also one of my main problems is that it doesnt let you use 0.5% weighting on the grades. Alot of things at my school are worth 0.5 and its a bit frustrating that I cant add it as so. If the next update would let us use 0.5 weighting that would be perfect!

I appreciate the ability to manage multiple classes and the "goal grade" is an added benefit. I only use it for keeping track of grades and dates of when assignments are due, but I may expand my use next quarter. My one suggestion: * Allow for two decimal grades, like 81.56%. It allows for a more accurate grade accounting and would reflect what we see on Canvas/Blackboard. Thanks for a helpful app!

Love this app, as a college student is helps so much BUT it no long will tell me my current grade in a class. Please fix this or Ill have to find a different one and I really love this.

This app looks really great. And it looks like it has everything that one could possibly need to figure out ones GPA. The issue is that, like so many other apps in the iTunes Store, I have to figure out the point spread myself. And frankly, if I am going to do that, I will just use an Excel spreadsheet. That way I can enter ran how many points I got and the weight so that I can figure out the grade. It would be much quicker then entering it into this one. Frankly, if all I need to do is keep up with my assignments, this would be fine. But since Im more concerned with my grade, it just is a disappointment.

I love this app. It tells me where I am with my grades and what I need to pass the class or to get the grade I want. It had a little glitch this last week so I sent customer service an email about it and they were awesome. $2 well spent!!!

I was having trouble with a Grades 3 update and I emailed the support staff. They promptly wrote back to me and let me know that they were doing everything they could to fix the problem. After they had fixed it, they let me know, and when I checked, it was! They were very polite, apologetic, and responsive. This one customer service experience gave me confidence that Grades 3 support staff genuinely care about their customers.

new bug where extra credit wont always compute for all classes also, pretty lame that you cant just put in the points value of one thing when adding to the syllabi (for example, I cant say 4 tests are worth a hundred each, I have to say theyre 400 total)

It almost always runs smoothly for me and its extremely helpful in calculating my grades throughout the semester. When I have had bugs, the support staff is very helpful and swiftly replies to my emails. I even received follow-up emails without having to ask! 5/5!

Everything is PERFECT about this app except the percent system. Let me explain.. This app gives you your final grade out of 100% (Most school: Tests 45%, Classwork 35%, & Homework 20%). My school however does our score out of the 80%. This means, my final average is always off by about 2-3 % which gets kind of annoying.

I just love this app!! Its so easy & convenient to keep track of all my grades each semester. I especially love how you can put in your target grade, all the while showing your actual grade right next to it - which definitely helps me work harder if needed! I definitely recommend this app!!

Was trying to update my target grade for a class and it inputs a completely different number than I entered. How do I fix this?

There are features that are nice and useful but it doesnt all work. Its not very streamlined to be a simple user interface. Its a little clumsy and glitchy. For a paid app in a little disappointed especially since I do my research first and was told this was the best. This could do better.

The percentages used to be accurate but not anymore. Please fix this bug soon. I gave me hopes up.
